Privacy

Secret Santa keeps as little as it can, and shows each person only what they need. It's free, with no ads, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Who sees what

Your name and pronouns: Everyone in your group
Your email address: You and your group's organizers
Your quiz answers: You, and your Santa once names are drawn. Not the organizers.
Your shipping address: You, and your Santa once names are drawn, only in groups that ship gifts
Who you can't be matched with: You, that person, and the organizers
Who has who: Each person sees only their own match. Organizers can look only on purpose, and every other organizer sees that they did.

Email

You only get emails about your groups: sign-in codes, your match, and short notices like being let in or a group being deleted. Organizers also get reminders before their draw. There's no newsletter.

How long it's kept

Until you delete it. You can delete your account at any time from your groups, which erases your profile, quiz answers and address, and deletes any groups you own (their members get a short email). Leaving a group deletes your answers for that group.
